search engine experts

Quite often in my “travels” I meet people who are selling products or services and they mention they have a web site.So naturally I ask to have a look.And when I ask a few questions I realise they dont have a clue about seo..and they have found someone to help them with their site..so I start to suggest that if they did this and that..just standard stuff..they could rank quite well in the Australian search at least..
But…often they will tell me their “expert” is fixing everything by..drum roll on this please…by redesigning the site.
WTF…
Like that will help.??..and they are paying big bucks to redesing a site…that NO ONE FINDS..
And that makes sense…LOL
